Joseph Scheerer

Joseph Scheerer founded Stonybrook Capital in 2012 to build on over 20 years of experience, relationships and technical skills in insurance, reinsurance, investment banking and capital markets on Wall Street. Before founding Stonybrook Capital, he spent four years at Willis Capital Markets & Advisory, and was previously an investment banker at Benfield Advisory Group, Ltd. Since 2014, he has sat on the board of directors of Atlantic American Corporation (NASDAQ “AAME”). Joe graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Economics and International Relations.
